The survey is open to participation via three contact methods, the aim being to be as representative as possible of the population surveyed:
Telephone recruitment
ILRES dials telephone numbers that it has generated by computer using the "Random Digit Dialing" technique. This technique consists of creating telephone numbers from existing roots, i.e. taking the first allocated digits as published, for example, by the Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR) and creating all possible number combinations from the remaining four or six digits. ILRES does not know the identity of the persons whose number it dials. If the people contacted are interested in the project, the interviewer will ask them a few questions to check that their socio-demographic profile corresponds to one of those sought for this survey and will record their e-mail address to invite them by e-mail to complete the online questionnaire.
Recruitement via invitations sent to ILRES panellists
ILRES sends invitation emails to MyPanel members based on the total number of interviews required and the socio-demographic characteristics sought for this survey.
Door-to-door recruitment
ILRES interviewers offer door-to-door participation using the "random route" method. This method involves randomly determining a starting point using GPS coordinates and following a route from this point. An attempt is then made to contact the occupants of each of the second or fourth addresses along the route and invite the person selected from among them to complete the survey. The interviewers therefore do not have the identity of the person whose door they ring to invite to take part. If the person selected agrees to take part, the interviewer hands them a tablet so that they can complete the questionnaire themselves.

The purpose of the processing involved in this survey is to obtain reliable data on the audiences for press titles for media planning purposes, which involves understanding the socio-demographic profiles of consumers of the various press titles and how often they consult these various media.
To achieve this objective, depending on the methodology chosen, different types of data need to be processed:
Information provided by survey participants through their responses to the questionnaire
Information relating to the management of survey sites
For people recruited by telephone:
For people recruited via door-to-door:
For people recruited via ILRES MyPanel:
The information needed to manage the payment of rewards to participants.

ILRES uses data collection software provided by NIPO Software BV, located at Amsteldijk 166, 1079 LH Amsterdam. This company will process pseudonymised data for the sole purpose of providing access to its online data collection software, without this supplier having access to respondents' e-mail addresses. Pseudonymised data is data to which a code/pseudonym is assigned, i.e. data that does not include your identifying data such as your e-mail address.
IILRES will send the data in pseudonymised form to the limited company Kantar Insights, established at B-1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, 4-10 boulevard Saint-Lazare. Kantar Insights will analyse the data but will not be able to identify the participants.
Only anonymous and aggregated data will be sent to the Sponsors.

ILRES will anonymise the data processed as soon as possible after the end of the survey, at the latest within six months of your participation.
All persons whose personal data is processed as part of the survey may exercise the rights set out below, in accordance with the conditions laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation:
You may submit any request relating to your rights listed above to the ILRES Data Protection Officer, either by post to ILRES, 41, rue du Puits Romain, L-8070 Bertrange, or by e-mail to DPO@ilres.com.
Please note, however, that as this data is collected without the respondent's identity being collected, processing this request will require at least the participant's e-mail address or, depending on the method of contact, their telephone number.
Please also note that the data collected will be rendered anonymous as soon as possible. It is therefore possible that this data will already have been rendered anonymous by the time you make your request, in which case your request will become pointless.
